The Kin Club of Cambridge (Preston) Inc operates a number of special events during the year. These include the following:
Kin Carnival: May 24th to May 26th at Riverside Park (visit the Kin Carnival page).
Snow Golf for Cystic Fibrosis: On January 26th, the club will hold the annual Snow Golf: Tournament at Grand Valley Golf Club. All proceeds go to Cystic Fibrosis research. To enter a team, please contact the club at 519-653-4420 or email info@prestonkin.ca
Wish Tree shopping night: each November the club shops at Giant Tiger for the Salvation Army : Wish Tree, which provides Christmas gifts for needy Cambridge families. This past November, club members, spouses and Kin kids purchased over $6,100 of clothing (hats, mitts, pajamas, socks, shirts, blouses, etc.), toys, candy and personal hygiene items.
Christmas Cheer Draw: Each year, in November and early December, the club holds a draw for 4 LCBO gift certificates totalling $750. More details about the 2018 draw will be posted in the fall.
